Where is Patara Beach and How to Get There?

Patara Beach is a popular destination visited by many domestic and foreign tourists every year. The most remarkable moments at this beach, which is an important attraction center, are the sunrise and sunset. It is the longest beach in the world with a 12 km coastline.

Patara Beach, which is the nesting area of caretta carettas (loggerhead sea turtles), is open for use only between 08:00 and 20:00. The region is a must-see for everyone at least once in their lifetime, where they should walk in its untouched nature, sunbathe on its golden sandy beach, and swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean.

As a natural protected area, the lush green hills that will appear in front of you when you turn your back to the beach offer clean air and a magnificent natural landscape. You can rent umbrellas and sun loungers at Patara Beach, where the facility is located, to meet your food and beverage needs.

Where is Patara Beach?

Patara Beach is located in the Kaş district of Antalya. The beach is about 43 km away from Kaş center and houses thousands of years of history with the world's oldest council building. With its golden sandy beach and vast sea, the beach is truly magnificent.

How to Get to Patara Beach?

Patara Beach is about 220 km away from Antalya and can be reached after a 3-4 hour journey. If you don't have a private vehicle, you will come across the Patara junction after passing Kalkan, 11 km away, while heading towards Fethiye.
