Quarantine requirement in Turkey?

As part of the fight against Covid-19, the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey has taken measures for tourists arriving from abroad. In accordance with these measures, a PCR test with a negative result carried out in 3 days is sufficient for tourists from some countries, while a quarantine requirement has been introduced for some countries. Tourists who have visited the following countries in the past 14 days will be quarantined for 10 days after entering Turkey.

The countries that do not use quarantine when entering Turkey and only require a PCR test with a "negative" result, which is carried out within 3 days, are the following:

• Libya

For foreign tourists from countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, only PCR tests with negative results are accepted.

Do I need PCR for Turkey?

For people entering Turkey from countries such as Estonia, no PCR test is required when entering Turkey.

Turkey weekend curfew for tourists?

According to the circular issued by the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Turkey on May 15, 2021, tourists traveling to Turkey are exempt from the curfew. Foreign tourists staying in Turkey temporarily or for a specific purpose are exempt from curfew from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and on weekends if they have a passport.

Do tourists need a HES code?

Tourists who come to Turkey from abroad for tourist reasons must receive an HES code. The HES code obtained from the passport number is valid for the entire period of your visit to Turkey.

How do I get a HES code for my passport?

Foreigners can get an HES code that can be used when visiting Turkey as follows:
